Help Save a life

Today

Our mission

We help protect people from malaria. We fund anti-malaria nets, specifically long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs), and work with distribution partners to ensure they are used. We track and report on net use and impact.

We also monitor net usage to ensure nets continue to be used. We monitor malaria case rate data so we know the impact of the nets

Why malaria?

Malaria remains a significant global health challenge, causing approximately 400,000 deaths and affecting over 200 million people annually. The introduction of bed nets has significantly reduced mortality rates, but there is still much progress to be made. The majority of malaria-related deaths occur in children under 5 years old, pregnant women, and in sub-Saharan Africa. Despite its prevalence, malaria is preventable and treatable, with sleeping under insecticide-treated nets being the most effective prevention method.

Investing in malaria prevention and treatment not only saves lives but also improves the GDP of affected regions. Therefore, addressing malaria is both a humanitarian and economic imperative for global development efforts.
